Hi everyone, it's been a little while since we last updated the news section. It's safe to say we have had our busiest year yet working on a handful of major longform projects and a sprinkling of smaller scale, single day projects. Look out for our next news post where we'll tell you all about what else we've been up to this year.
At the end of week 1 of Movember (well nearly a week) we are proud to announce we have made our first foray into Movember filmmaking.
This past weekend saw Elixir and our long time friend (and fellow Mo'Bro) Adam Mcgee aka @FussFreeMcgee collaborate on a fun fundraising video in aid of raising awareness, money and a few hearty chuckles for the quite fantastic charity Movember.
So apparently a little boring month called 'November' is fast approaching and what better way to breathe some life into the otherwise quite dull (apart from bonfire night and thanksgiving of course) month than some fun fundraising!
After our recent article on our past activities we can now discuss our future projects and we are very, very excited to announce our involvement on not one but TWO feature length documentaries. In September we began principal photography in Norfolk on a film tentatively called 'Pikers' for the Environmental Agency in partnership with the Broads Angling Strategy Group. 'Pikers' aims to educate fishermen and the general public alike about the very imminent dangers present in the fishing of and conservation of Pike Fishing on the Norfolk Broads and Nationwide.
It's easier than ever now to keep yourself in the loop about what Elixir are up to nowadays.

Elixir has started teaching Media Skills (filming techniques, green screen techniques, editing, interviews, and stop-motion animation) to teenagers with learning difficulties in the East of England region. Due to legal wrangles, no company names can be mentioned, but we are helping to launch a big media campaign with the teens in the next couple of months.
EMP partners with Departure Lounge Media Studios to produce a video-led recruitment campaign for pub chain, JD Wetherspoons.
